I am A.N. Nash. I design and build every Bladetricks blade by hand in my workshop. My background is in close protection and close-quarters combat — that is where the design criteria come from, and it is what you will feel in every piece.

Purpose Over Pretense

Whether you carry a blade on your belt, a pikal knife, a karambit, a hard-use tomahawk, or a last-ditch EDC tool — you have already made your calculation, and my work exists for that precise moment. I strip every piece to what it needs and nothing more. I design every Bladetricks blade from scratch and build every one by hand, to the absolute limit of my ability. That is not a position. It is simply how I work.

A Design Language in Constant Motion

No Bladetricks model is ever finished. Each piece absorbs what the previous one taught — in geometry, balance, and grip. Over time, this produces something consistent and unmistakable: a design language that is recognizable before you read the name on it. Each new model is a direct response to a very specific combat or operational demand.

Materials Selected for One Reason

I use available, honest, and reliable materials — no hype, no supersteel of the month. O1, 8670, 4340, 14C28N, AEB-L, 1070 spring steel, and Grade 5 titanium, paired with industrial Micarta, G10, and paracord. Every material here answers the same question: will it hold in combat, when everything else has failed.
