BLADETRICKS GEN4 SICK KAMA, CORD WRAPPED
Geometry as Argument
The Gen4 Sick Kama is my fourth iteration of a compact tactical sickle, stripped of ceremony and built for the urban environment. The design process began with sketches and wood models, working through the angles until the geometry earned its place. The result is a tactical kama in 1070 spring steel (C67S) — selected for its exceptional toughness, ability to absorb impact without structural failure, and a clean edge that is fast to maintain in the field. At 297 mm, it stays maneuverable and concealable without sacrificing reach or leverage. The optimized geometry allows for fast, fluid attack and counterattack transitions — a serious tactical EDC option that does not announce itself.
The Head
The main edge is straight, optimized for clean penetration and powerful pulling strikes. In addition to this, where a tomahawk carries a spike, this kama carries a secondary cutting edge at the back of the head — a short, dedicated counterstrike edge that closes the gap between offense and immediate response.
The Pommel
A dedicated Micro Pikal skull crusher pommel closes the tool’s capabilities into a complete system — the same signature feature found across my pikal CQC tomahawks and tools. It is a deliberate addition, not an afterthought — the kind of detail that makes a professional smile and says nothing.
The Handle
My proven arched profile widens progressively toward the pommel, delivering a natural, locked-in grip and optimal traction under load. Wrapped in twisted 550 paracord, it stays low profile and indifferent to conditions.
Carrying
A multiposition Kydex sheath completes the package, compatible with both TEKLOK and Ulticlip systems. It disappears where you need it.
