BLADETRICKS PITCH FORK, TITANIUM & BLACK G10

The Pitch is a fork. Small enough for any pocket. Quiet enough that nobody asks questions.

This is a custom version — 2mm Grade 5 titanium, hand sculpted black G10 scales, pinned and epoxied.

What It Is

Push dagger. Knuckle duster. Double spike ice pick. The Pitch borrows from all three and answers to none of them.

There is a school of thought that says a defensive tool should look imposing. And then there’s the totally opposite one.

Two spikes, not one. The pair sets the line of attack and registers the hand at the same time. No edge to maintain. No mechanism to fail. No legal classification anyone wants to argue about.

The Titanium

Grade 5 titanium — Ti 6Al-4V. The alloy aerospace and medicine reach for when weight matters and failure is not a conversation they want to have. Jet turbines. Surgical implants. The places steel is not enough and aluminium will not do.

At 2mm stock the Pitch carries like it isn’t there.

It won’t rust. It won’t stain. Non-magnetic. Non-sparking. None of these are decorative properties.

The Handle

Black G10, hand sculpted. G10 began life as electrical insulation — a high-pressure laminate of fibreglass and epoxy resin, dense, dimensionally stable, indifferent to moisture and temperature. Knife makers adopted it because nothing else behaves as well over decades.

Scales are pinned and epoxied to the titanium body. Pins for mechanical lock. Epoxy for full bond. Either one alone is a compromise. The connection is permanent.

Grip Positions

The index finger leads. The hand finds the rest without instruction.

That is the correct standard for a tool you may need without preparation.

Pocket Carry

83mm overall. Front pocket, jacket pocket, anywhere it needs to go. The Kydex sheath is hand formed to this specific piece and keeps it ready.

Not every piece I build has a name attached when it begins. Small ones take their time, and so do I.
